He: Wisdom’s Calmness

A summer pool in August. Splashes of delight,

The crystal of sincerity, mutual and bright.

I try to kiss, though timid and so shy,

All that the blue patch does not hide.

Triangles of a bright bathing bikini,

Birthmarks upon the body’s avant-garde.

Goosebumps awaken, trembling deep within me —

Beneath the sun it feels a jest so hard.

I dive, breaststroke for half a hundred meters,

Cutting the surface swiftly with my hands.

And lo! from depths of gentle water’s theatre —

My gaze already tickles you with glance.

You cling onto the ladder, lovely little one,

Though this deep water does not bring you fear.

I’m close beside you, till the danger’s gone —

Conceal the bottom’s pull that drags us near.

O Enchantress of yearning, Nymph of delight,

The boundless sea of feelings holds no fright.

For wisdom’s calmness masters passion’s flame,

And I believe in tranquil tide the same.

And when the breakers rise upon the sea,

They’ll only serve as our jacuzzi.
